About 4 miles awayFrom early aviation to Nazi-era buildings and the Cold War airlift, much of Berlin's modern history is tied up with what was its largest airport: Tempelhof. Now closed and part of a vast park, you can take a guided tour in English of the buildings and discover their history this Thursday at 2pm, beginning at the General Aviation Terminal. (Tours can be cancelled at short notice - check for details).
